I love a comeback whether it be a musician or a brand. Let me tell you about a brand who had surprised me so much I had to pick my jaw up from the floor, Bath and Body Works. Yes, we all remember them, especially us females. I don't even want to think about how much money I wasted in there as a preteen, buying more perfumes and lotions then I could ever need in a lifetime. Their brand got old and a little over the top because they were having to compete with Victoria Secret's lotion and perfume line, which lets face it, as teenagers and young adults we all loved so much more because it was "sexier".
Do you see what I mean? Who wants to buy what's on the left when you could embody the persona of the two on the right? So for almost 14 years I haven't even bothered to step foot in a Bath and Body Works. That was until 4 days ago when I saw someone post a picture of this new shower gel of theirs on instagram. The design was so appealing, I wanted to buy it without even smelling it! (And that can be dangerous!)
Excuse me...when did they started mixing fun fonts and using patterns and textures?! And do I even need mention the cute fruit illustrations? I immediately went to their website only to find an entire line of products with this same look. I.Want.Them.All.
Their website also informed me that their 3 wick fall scented candles were on sale. I love to fill my home with the scents of fall. Look at these candle labels!!! DROOL!!!! They are so cute and I would love to have them displayed in my home.
I picked up a pumpkin spiced cider and a cranberry woods (which can be for fall and winter!)
I am so proud of the design comeback of B&BW. The scents are better and the design is even better. I love having candles around my home, especially in the fall and winter when I can't have my windows open. It is even better when the labels are attractive, so move over Yankee Candle, I have a new candle supplier in my life!
